Kings Of Leon w/The Features 4.7.05
Venue - Plymouth Pavillions, Plymouth
Time - 7:30pm
Support - The Features
Date - 4th July 2005
So we got to Plymouth for about 6:45-7ish, there wasnt too many people in the queue, so we sat outside having coffee for a while. Doors opened at 7. The Features came on at 8, they were absolutely brilliant. They got the crowd moving quite a bit, they played quite a long set along with some of my favourites "Me and The Skirts", "Exhibit A", "Theres A Million Ways To Sing The Blues" , "Exorcising Demons" and many more. They had so much energy, the drummer (Rollum Haas) was fantastic, bassist (Roger Dabbs) was moving around with so much style. Keyboardist (Parrish Yaw) was pretty good and frontman (Matt Pelham) was amazing, his voice was brilliant, guitar fantastic, great guy!
Kings came on at about 9, Absolutely Brilliant! They played;
Taper Jean Girl
Pistol Of Fire
King Of The Rodeo
Milk
The Bucket
Soft
Razz
Four Kicks
Velvet Snow
Where Nobody Knows
Happy Alone
Wasted Time
Joe's Head
California Waiting
Spiral Staircase
Molly's Chambers
Trani
--------------------------
Holy Roller Novocaine
Head To Toe
Slow Night,So Long
(Not the exact order, but they played those)
Quite a few bottles were thrown at Caleb which he wasnt too happy about, but the show was amazing. Jared was brilliant. I think the best songs that evening were "Holy Roller Novocaine", "Four Kicks", "Soft", "Razz", "Slow Night So Long", "Velvet Snow" , "Happy Alone" & "Spiral Staircase". Nathan must have thrown out about 20 drumsticks at the end, but he threw them the complete opposite way to where i was! Overall it was a brilliant show, Had a great time and I Love The KINGS!!!
Piccys that we took...
