getAmped 3.08.05

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Venue - Three Fat Fish, Exeter
Time - 8pm
Support Bands - The Wounds + Aurora
Date - 3rd August 2005

So Shannon's family kindly picked me up and we travelled to Exeter for 8pm, when we turned into the road of the pub, getAmpeds van was parked in the road and Rick (Looking mighty fine!) was laid in the back of it. So we sat on the kerb for a while. Then we followed getAmped down the road and stickered the whole of Exeter with there stickers! We made our way back down to the pub and saw 'The Wounds', who were ok, then 'Aurora' who were alright too! Whilst 'Aurora' were on we sat outside on the wall and getAmped were all in the back of the van, but the windows were blacked out so we couldnt see in, we were well sketched out because we thought they were looking at us! Later on we found out this was true! Then they started dancing outside there van and warming up ready. They were all in there gorgeous Rip Curl clothes. We knicked a poster off the board aswell which you can see further down the page. Dougal was trying to set off the alarm on his car which was pretty funny. Tim and Rick had some nice hats on too! getAmped played really well, 'Shut Me Out' was great! There full of energy those guys! Shannon was brave enough to say 'Hey' to Rick in the end, however he seemed quite nervous too because his reply was 'Hey, dubeddooo' hehe! Anyway since spoken to them via e-mail and next time were going to make an effort to speak to them! Because there really nice guys!
