So we picked my lil concert buddy (Yeah thats you Shannon!) up at 9:30am. My parents drove us all the dam way to Bristol, yeah it took 2 hours, well a bit longer actually. We got there and found this mega huge kick ass multi story car park, so we parked up and then went on a hunt for a McDonalds! Finally found one and had some lunch, then ran down to the Trinity Arts Centre (weve been too 2 art centres now for gigs..strange!), the place looks more like a church to be honest. We gave our tickets to the security guards and waved goodbye to Mum and Dad, about 2 minutes later Dad, Mum and my sister walked in behind us, they had been chatting to the security guard and managed to wag themselves free tickets, cheeky things! So they came in too. We could see Martin (Bassist + Guitarist, yeah they swap over during the show, how weird!) stood by the door!, then we grabbed loads of free stuff, like posters, badges, stickers, leaflets etc!
Then they came out so Shannon and I rushed down to the front, we were unbelievably close to Sam, we had his sweat practically all over us! They played the following (from what i can remember, and this is not in order either)

Headlights
Cosmopolitan
Just Friends
-New Song-
Southern Cross
Shot Down
Ironside
Unsatisfied
Over The Ocean
Not Everyone

Bloody good set, Sam's soo shy, but he spoke to the crowd quite a bit, i was surprised! David was using drumsticks on his guitar, it was amazing, for the last two songs David and Martin switched over (Bass and Guitar) it was really good. The smoke machine had completely had it, and it was right in Sams face so he couldnt get to the microphone to sing, he had to stand out of it, luckily that only happened during one song! They seemed really sweet guys, Sam kept saying 'Cheers, Thanks' which was quite amusing at the time! Anyway it was the loudest gig by far so far, our ears were ringing like hell afterwards, you could feel every beat of the drum under your feet too! But apart from that it ruled! Would love to go see them again!

We were so close but my ears were ringing after! Oh well, worth it, the sound was great and there were not that many of us there either!! Very private! Again thanks for choosing me to go with you, so cool!

Wish I had gone. Sounded like you had a great time. No one really wants to see Nine black Alps round here so I'm pretty upset.
